Description
The Tascam BO-32DE is a passive 1U rackmount breakout box that converts 32 channels of D-Sub 25-pin audio to Euroblock connections. Designed primarily for permanent installations, it provides a clean interface between D-Sub-equipped devices like the Tascam ML-16D and ML-32D Dante converters and fixed wiring in houses of worship, conference rooms, restaurants, and commercial AV systems.
32-Channel Euroblock to D-Sub Conversion
Sixteen Euroblock connectors on the front panel carry 32 balanced audio channels. Four D-Sub 25-pin connectors on the rear panel provide the D-Sub side. All connectors are bidirectional and can be used as inputs or outputs. Pin assignments comply with AES59-2012.
Installation-Friendly Design
Included Euroblock plugs feature tabs for secure wire attachment. A cable band kit minimizes stress on signal wires during connection and disconnection. Rack ears are reversible, so either the Euroblock or D-Sub side can face forward. Ears are removable for tabletop use. The compact depth of 50.8 mm (2.0 in) allows mounting in the rear of a rack case.
