Description
The Tascam BD-MP4K is a professional-grade 1U rackmount 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player with DVD, CD, SD card, and USB flash memory playback. Supporting 4K UHD Blu-ray alongside a wide range of disc and file formats, the BD-MP4K delivers high-resolution video and audio for commercial installations, theaters, educational facilities, entertainment venues, and AV integration projects.
Media and Format Support
The BD-MP4K plays 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray (BD25, BD50, BD-ROM, BD-R, BD-RE), DVD (DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW), and CD (CD-DA, CD-R, CD-RW) discs. A front-panel SD card slot (up to 512 GB) and rear USB 3.0 port (up to 2 TB) provide playback of video, audio, and image files. The unit also supports file playback from Samba Server (NAS) over the network.
Audio and Video Outputs
Dual HDMI outputs include an HDMI 2.0 audio/video output supporting resolutions up to 2160p (4K) and an HDMI 1.4 audio-only output. Professional balanced XLR stereo outputs and RCA unbalanced stereo outputs handle audio routing. An RCA 7.1-channel surround output and coaxial S/PDIF digital output with Dolby and DTS support provide additional options.
Installation Features
Power-on Play automatically starts disc playback at power-up. A Hide Menu function suppresses the factory startup screen for a clean display. Panel lock, IR lock, and tray lock prevent unwanted operation. Gigabit Ethernet and RS-232C ports enable remote control and integration with professional AV control systems.
