Description
The Airwave is a 25-watt 1x12 tube combo with built-in Two notes DynIR cabinet simulation. A 12AX7 preamp with a 3-band EQ, boost, drive, tremolo and reverb feeds a Class A 6V6 power section, and the amp can play through its own speaker, go direct to a mixing desk or DAW, or run into headphones.
Twelve cabinet simulations captured at the Hit Factory in New York, six vintage Supro cabs and six modern ones, sit in two banks of six on a rotary switch. They include a modded 1959 Supro Coronado, an original Valco-era Oahu 1x10 and Phil X's custom Super 108. Stereo XLR outputs feed a front-of-house console or recording interface, and the onboard speaker can be muted for silent stages. The Two notes Torpedo software edits and replaces presets over USB on PC or Mac and over Bluetooth on iOS or Android.
