Description
The Black Magick Reverb is a 25-watt Class A 1x12 tube combo developed with Lenny Kravitz. It keeps the midrange grind of the original Black Magick, Supro's recreation of the vintage amp Jimmy Page loaned to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and adds spring reverb, a 2-band EQ and a master volume.
Two preamp channels can be linked through the 1 + 2 input for a fatter sound, or Input 2 can be used alone for a quicker response. The spring reverb is driven by both channels and mixed with the dry signal before the master volume. A tube LFO gives bias-modulated tremolo with twice the speed range of the original Black Magick. A matched pair of 6973 tubes drives a custom Supro output transformer with 16, 8 and 4 ohm outputs. The combo carries a custom 12-inch Supro BD12 speaker.
