Description
The Supro Tremolo is an analog pedal that recreates two tube amp tremolo effects from 1960s American amplifiers. Amplitude mode gives the bias-modulated volume tremolo of the original Supro amps. Harmonic mode gives the crossfading filter tremolo of early 1960s amps, with a more psychedelic sound.
The pedal has preamp and power amp sections with a real output transformer, so the tremolo happens in an output stage that can be driven into overdrive, much as it does in an amp. The Gain knob takes the sound from clean to gritty, and the output level adjusts automatically as the gain goes up. An expression pedal can control the speed. It runs on 9 to 18 volts DC.
