Description
The BETA 58A is a supercardioid dynamic vocal microphone with a neodymium element that delivers a bright, high-output signal tailored for professional vocal performance. Its tighter supercardioid pattern provides significantly more gain-before-feedback than standard cardioid vocal microphones, making it well-suited to loud stage environments.
Vocal Performance
- Neodymium element: Higher output than standard dynamic microphones for a hotter signal with less preamp gain
- Supercardioid pattern: Tighter pickup than the SM58, with superior off-axis rejection for louder monitoring
- Shaped vocal response: Bright, clear midrange with controlled proximity effect for natural vocals at close range
- Hardened steel mesh grille: Built-in pop filter with advanced pneumatic shock mount
