Description
The Blackouts Active Bass Preamp adds a 2-band onboard EQ to your bass. It boosts or cuts at center frequencies voiced for bass, with low noise, low distortion and high headroom. It was first voiced for Blackouts for Bass pickups and works with passive or active pickups in any style.
The lows are deep, clear and tight. The treble has two switchable center frequencies: the lower one adds growl and bite to traditional P, J and MM tones, and the higher one gives a clear top end for modern, full-range bass sounds. This STC-2S-BO version puts the bass and treble controls on two separate pots.
