Description
The Triple Shot is a humbucker mounting ring with two small slider switches built in, at the low E-string edge of the ring. The switches give four sounds from one humbucker: series, parallel, and a split to either coil. It works with nearly any humbucker that has 4-conductor cable, Seymour Duncan or otherwise.
To install it, solder the pickup leads to the small color-coded circuit board on the ring and fit the ring in place of your old one. No routing is needed. Push the two switches toward each other for standard series wiring, away from each other for parallel, or both toward one coil to shut that coil off.
This is the arched version for carved-top guitars with traditional Gibson-style mounting, such as a Les Paul. Like standard mounting rings, it comes in separate neck and bridge heights. This listing is the neck ring, a short ring with a curved bottom, in cream. The rings do not fit Trembuckers with nickel or gold covers.
