Description
In March 1968 Jimi Hendrix asked a young Seymour W. Duncan to walk his guitar onstage, a Strat loaded with pickups Seymour had wound for him. The Jimi Hendrix Signature Loaded Pickguard puts Seymour Duncan's Jimi Hendrix Signature Strat pickups into a prewired 3-ply white pickguard.
Each pickup is custom wound for a rich, melodic tone. The bridge pickup has an aggressive attack that cuts through, the neck pickup is thick and full for chords, bluesy melodies and double-stops, and the in-between positions have plenty of classic Strat quack. Each pickup has a reverse magnet stagger to recreate a right-handed guitar played upside down and restrung for a lefty.
This version has the Voodoo route, with a reverse-angle bridge pickup. It only fits guitars with a swimming pool or humbucker route.
