Description
The BYOP Pickguard is a prewired Strat pickguard with no pickups, built around the Liberator solderless system. It lets Strat players try pickups of different tone and output quickly, with no soldering and no trip to a tech.
The Liberator uses screw-clamp connectors that accept bare or tinned pickup leads, and the included screwdriver tightens them. The electronics can also come off this pickguard and serve as a prewired, solderless harness for another Strat pickguard. They work with single coils, noiseless stacks and single-coil-size humbuckers. The white 3-ply pickguard uses the 11-screw USA pattern.
