Description
The Everything Axe Loaded Pickguard puts three single-coil-size humbuckers into a prewired Strat pickguard for a wide range of tones. A JB Jr. bridge pickup gives crunchy chords and screaming leads with upper-midrange cut, a Duckbucker in the middle adds single-coil sparkle in positions 2, 3 and 4, and a Little '59 in the neck gives a balanced, P.A.F.-like response for full chords and punchy solos.
The Liberator solderless system makes later pickup changes fast: its screw-clamp connectors take bare or tinned pickup leads and tighten with a screwdriver. The pickups use 4-conductor lead wire and are wax potted. The pots, switch and capacitor are high quality and wired with vintage-style cloth push-back wire. This version has a white 3-ply pickguard with the 11-screw USA pattern.
