Description
The Woody HC (SA-3HC) is a passive, noiseless magnetic soundhole pickup for steel-string acoustic guitars. Its hum-canceling design gives a warm, rich tone that is fatter and more compressed than the single-coil version, and it suits all types of acoustic playing.
It mounts in the soundhole with no changes to the guitar and comes out just as easily. The housing is double potted to resist feedback, and it fits standard soundholes from 3.75 in (94mm) to 4.0 in (100mm). It comes with a 14-foot low-capacitance cable that plugs straight into an amp, PA, direct box or console. As a magnetic pickup it works with steel strings only. This version has a black-stained housing.
