Description
Duff McKagan's bass lines have powered Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver and his other projects since the mid-1980s. The Duff McKagan Signature PJ Set pairs the two Seymour Duncan pickups that became his signature sound on recordings and world tours: a Quarter Pound P-Bass pickup in the neck and a Hot Stack Jazz Bass pickup in the bridge.
The Quarter Pound's large Alnico 5 magnets and high-output coils give grit, low end and attack, and the Hot Stack bridge pickup keeps the set free of hum in every position. The covers carry Duff's skull and crossbones logo. The set suits classic rock, hard rock, punk, grunge and metal, and a 2 or 3 band tone circuit adds more control.
