Description
The SPB-1 Vintage P-Bass is a vintage-correct split-coil Precision Bass pickup made to look and sound like the late 1950s originals. It gives the right balance of authoritative thump and clear articulation for an authentic P-Bass feel. Hand-ground alnico 5 rod magnets and a vintage coil wind deliver the bold, smooth tone of a late 1950s Precision Bass.
It is a drop-in replacement for any American Standard Precision Bass. Seymour Duncan hand files the Forbon flatwork, assembles and lacquers the bobbins as they were made in Fender's early years, and fits waxed and tinned cloth push-back hookup wires. It comes with black non-logo covers.
