Description
P-Rails is a full-size humbucker that splits to either a real P90 or a single-coil Rail pickup, so one pickup gives humbucker, P90 and Strat-style tones. With both coils on, the mismatched coils give a full, expansive humbucker sound. The P90 coil alone is fat, and two Rail coils used together sound like positions 2 and 4 on a Strat. It suits country, pop, surf, jazz, blues, classic rock and heavy rock.
This is the neck model. It is wound RWRP, so you can use both P90 coils or both Rail coils together with hum-cancelling. It fits any guitar set up for a standard humbucker. Use a 2-way switch (push-pull or mini toggle) for humbucker and P90 sounds, or a 3-way on-off-on switch to add the Rail coil. This version is white.
