Description
The Hot Jazzmaster Silencer is a noiseless pickup set for Jazzmaster guitars, with higher output and more punch than a vintage Jazzmaster pickup. It was designed by Kevin Beller, Seymour Duncan VP of Engineering, and uses a patent-pending triple-coil design: two outer coils cancel hum while an inner coil captures the Jazzmaster sound. Visible alnico 5 pole pieces keep the classic Jazzmaster look.
The neck pickup has a crisp, full-bodied tone with extra warmth in the low end, and the bridge brings sharp definition and sustain for solos. The set drops into any Jazzmaster-sized pickup location and suits gritty surf, grungy fuzz rock and shoegaze. This set has parchment covers.
