Description
The Hot P90 is a high-output P90 soapbar pickup. Extra coil windings and two small ceramic bar magnets give it more output, more sustain and more sensitivity to subtle string movement. Its pronounced upper midrange helps it cut through a mix. It suits heavy blues, classic rock, hard rock, punk and metal.
This is the bridge model. It gives chords a snarly growl and solos a fat, searing cut. Run it with the Hot P90 neck for a balanced set, or pair it with a Vintage P90 neck for more tonal range. It drops into most traditional Gibson-sized P90 soapbar routs. This version has a cream cover.
