Description
The Vintage Broadcaster Tele Set is a tribute to the original 1950 Broadcaster pickups. The lead pickup uses Alnico 5 magnets with a slightly larger .197 inch diameter and a higher-output wind for biting treble and snarly mids, made for raucous riffs and stinging lead runs. It also works well in front of a fuzz pedal.
The rhythm pickup has a smooth, open tone with warm lower mids and airy highs. Its hand-ground Alnico 5 rod magnets give big, full chords that are warm enough for most rhythm playing and percussive enough for chicken pickin'.
