Description
The Cool Rails for Strat is a medium-output, dual-blade humbucker in a single-coil size. It uses the same twin-coil design as the Hot Rails, wound for a clearer, brighter and more dynamic sound. It suits blues, classic rock, jazz-rock fusion, heavy rock and instrumental rock.
This is the neck/middle model (SCR-1n). It has an articulate, full sound much like a full-size humbucker. Chords are warm with a subtle scoop in the mids, solos are fat and crisp, and the blades sustain well on bends at the higher frets. It matches well with a Hot Rails, JB Jr. or any standard-sized bridge humbucker. This one comes in black.
