Description
The Alnico II Pro set pairs the APH-1 neck and bridge humbuckers. Each pickup uses an alnico 2 bar magnet and a vintage-output coil wind for a warm, smooth tone with natural sustain and a strong response to pick attack.
The neck pickup has thick, singing highs and warm lows. The bridge pickup is articulate and smooth, and it sounds expressive through a high-gain tube amp. The set suits jazz, blues and classic rock players who get their drive from the amp. Slash used these pickups on Appetite for Destruction.
Features
- Neck and bridge humbuckers in one set
- Alnico 2 bar magnets for a soft treble attack and low string pull
