Description
The SH-2n Jazz Model is a moderate output neck humbucker, and this version is built for 7-string guitars. An alnico 5 bar magnet and a special coil wind give it a glassy treble and a full, tight bass, while scooped mids keep each note clear at high gain and high speed.
Despite the name, it suits country, blues, funk, classic rock and heavy rock as well as jazz. It has slightly less output and more detailed treble than the '59 Model, and it pairs well with most bridge pickups.
Features
- Moderate output neck humbucker for 7-string guitars
- Alnico 5 bar magnet
- Clear, bright tone with smooth sustain
- Nickel silver bottom plate
- 4-conductor lead wire for coil splitting and other wiring options
- Vacuum wax potted for squeal-free performance
- Hand built in Santa Barbara, California
