Description
The Blackouts Coil Pack is a humbucker voiced to recreate the Original Blackouts sound with the Blackouts Modular Preamp. The Modular Preamp moves the low-noise Blackouts balanced differential preamp out of the pickup and into a volume pot, so you get active Blackouts output and low noise from a pickup with a traditional look.
This set has the neck and bridge Coil Packs packaged with the Blackouts Modular Preamp. Connections are solderless: the pickup and battery leads go into screw-clamp connectors that need only a small screwdriver. This version has a zebra finish.
Features
- Voiced for the bold lows, clear highs and low noise of the Original Blackouts
- Designed for the Blackouts Modular Preamp
- Traditional humbucker look with active performance
- Solderless Lockdown screw-clamp connections at the preamp
