Description
The Retribution pickups were designed with Dino Cazares of Fear Factory and Divine Heresy for 7- and 8-string guitars. A specially tuned preamp adds just the right amount of gain, sharper pick attack and string clarity, and the voicing keeps the low B and F# strings defined.
This is the 7-string neck and bridge set in the passive mount size. Like the standard Blackouts, it keeps an open, organic sound with low noise and a wider dynamic response than most active pickups. Dino describes it as a crunchy, evenly voiced sound for low tunings, with more articulation in the pick attack.
Features
- Signature active humbucker designed with Dino Cazares
- Specially tuned preamp for gain, attack definition and string clarity
