Description
These are the AHB-1 Blackouts in the active mount soapbar housing, made to replace the factory active pickups in 7- and 8-string guitars. Highs stay clear and lows stay tight, so riffs hold together down to low B or dropped A on a 7-string, and low F# or dropped E on an 8-string.
This is the calibrated 7-string neck and bridge set. The bridge keeps power chords tight with crisp highs, and the neck gives warmth and single-note clarity down to the lowest string.
Features
- High-output active humbuckers for extended-range guitars
- Active mount soapbar housing for guitars routed for active pickups
- Balanced preamp inputs for lower noise
- Quick-connector cables plug straight into guitars already wired for active pickups with quick-connector cables
