Description
The Hot Rodded Rails Set is a rail version of the classic Seymour Duncan JB and Jazz humbucker pairing from the 1970s. The JB Rails bridge keeps the JB Model's full low end, crisp highs and upper-midrange bump, and the Jazz Rails neck keeps the Jazz Model's shimmering treble and solid, defined bass, even with heavy overdrive.
Rails spread the magnetic field evenly across the strings for better balance, clarity and sustain at high gain. Both pickups are hand built in Santa Barbara, California, with Alnico 8 bar magnets, 4-conductor lead wire and vacuum wax potting. This set is the 6-string version, in black with steel rails.
Features
- JB Rails bridge and Jazz Rails neck humbuckers
- Rail design for even string-to-string balance
- More clarity and sustain under high gain
- Alnico 8 bar magnets
- 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options
- Vacuum wax potted to prevent squeal
- Hand built in Santa Barbara, California
