Description
JB Rails puts the JB Model, one of the best-known bridge humbuckers from Seymour Duncan, on a rail design. It keeps the JB Model's strong low end, crisp highs and upper-midrange bump, and the rails add tightness, a sharper attack and even balance across the strings for modern high-gain playing.
A 500k volume pot brings out more high end, and a 250k pot gives a softer, smoother tone. It is hand built in Santa Barbara, California, with an Alnico 8 bar magnet, 4-conductor lead wire and vacuum wax potting, and it pairs with the Jazz Rails neck pickup. This is the 7-string version, in black with steel rails.
