Description
Dave Mustaine recorded Megadeth's Rust In Peace with a guitar loaded with a JB in the bridge, and that JB sounded different from an off-the-shelf JB. Seymour Duncan worked with Dave to recreate it by changing the winding process. Compared to the standard JB, the Thrash Factor has a tighter low end, slightly scooped mids and more aggressive highs.
This is the Thrash Factor bridge pickup in Trembucker spacing, for guitars with a tremolo or a wide-spaced hardtail bridge. This version has black bobbins.
