Description
The SH-12 Screamin' Demon is a medium-output bridge humbucker with the open, airy sound of an old P.A.F. and more growl and sizzle. Slightly overwound coils, an Alnico 5 bar magnet and mixed pole pieces, one row of adjustable screws and one row of shorter Allen-head screws, give it a big, open tone. The treble emphasis keeps your pick attack clear at any level of distortion.
It was designed for the bridge, and it also works in the neck next to a higher-output bridge humbucker. For an 80s setup, pair it with a '59 Model or Jazz Model neck pickup. This one comes in the Zebra finish.
