Description
The Parallel Axis Original is a Trembucker (F-spaced) pickup that combines Seymour Duncan's dual-pole design, an Alnico 5 bar magnet and overwound coils. This bridge version has high output, a bold, bright tone with a clear top end, and a tight, focused low end.
The pole design adds sustain and the sound stays clear at all gain levels: chords growl and leads have a glassy quality. It suits vibrato-equipped guitars and works well with rosewood fingerboards. Trembucker spacing puts the poles under the strings of guitars with a tremolo or a wide hardtail bridge, 2 inches or wider from the low E to the high E over the bridge pickup.
