Description
The SH-PG1b Pearly Gates bridge humbucker is based on the bridge pickup in Billy Gibbons' 1959 Les Paul. Seymour found that Billy's bridge pickup had slightly more output than most P.A.F.s, which gave it extra drive. The Alnico 2 bar magnet keeps the high end airy and focused, and the midrange emphasis gives it a Texas sizzle and a growl of its own.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, California, every Pearly Gates is wound on Seymour's original Leesona winding machine from the early Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This version comes with a black powder coat cover.
