Description
Fender used this pole stagger for one year in the late 1950s to make up for the lower output of the A string. Like the originals, the Antiquity P-Bass Raised A uses taller .625 in rod magnets on the A string for better string-to-string balance. Otherwise it has the same look, sound and build as the Antiquity P-Bass.
It is hand made in the Seymour Duncan Custom Shop with hand-fabricated forbon bobbins, plain enamel magnet wire, hand-ground sand-cast magnets, a brass bottom plate and waxed cloth push-back wire. Each one is lacquered and potted in lamp black paraffin wax like the originals.
