Description
The Antiquity II Mini Humbucker recreates the mini humbucker sound of a vintage Les Paul Deluxe. Its midrange emphasis brings focus to the lows and adds a gritty sweetness to the highs. Overdriven, it breaks up with a smooth, warm growl, and clean sounds ring with a bright zing. The set pairs the bridge model, with rich midrange harmonics and a 1960s growl, and the sparkly neck model with its slightly softened treble attack.
Each pickup is hand built and aged to look and sound like an original. It sits in a hand-cut P90 soapbar cover-sized mounting ring and mounts exactly like an original Les Paul Deluxe pickup, so it fits any guitar with a Les Paul Deluxe rout, or a P90 rout with the Seymour Duncan Tapped Mounting Plate. Like the 1950s-era Gibson and Epiphone pickups of this type, it is not wax potted. This one is the neck and bridge set with a nickel cover.
