The Sennheiser e 865 is a supercardioid electret condenser vocal microphone for detailed stage vocals with phantom power. Condenser resolution brings air and diction that dynamics can miss, while the tight pattern keeps wedges under control. It needs 12 - 48 V phantom and handles up to 150 dB SPL at 1 kHz.
