Description
The sE8 Cardioid Capsule Pair gives you two factory-matched cardioid capsules for sE8 microphone bodies. Swap these in place of the omnidirectional capsules on an sE8 omni matched pair to convert your stereo kit to cardioid, or keep spares for the sE8 system. The cardioid pattern focuses pickup on the source in front of the mic while rejecting sound from the rear and sides.
Each capsule is hand-crafted with an ultra-thin gold-sputtered diaphragm and precision electrode for linear, natural response. Paired with sE8 mic bodies (sold separately), the resulting microphones deliver low self-noise, high SPL handling, and a wide dynamic range suited to instruments, vocals, percussion, and orchestral recording.
