SE Electronics RNR1 Rupert Neve Signature Active Ribbon Microphone

The sE Electronics RNR1 is the first product in the sE Rupert Neve Signature Series: an active ribbon microphone co-designed with Rupert Neve to deliver natural source reproduction with a frequency response far wider than traditional ribbons. Custom transformers and discrete circuitry extend high-frequency detail while preserving the smooth, intimate character ribbons are known for.

The hand-tensioned 2.5 µm aluminum ribbon sits in a precision-machined housing with scalloped edges for an acoustically ideal response. A figure-8 polar pattern, 100 Hz low-cut switch, and included shockmount make the RNR1 ready for studio vocals, strings, brass, guitar cabinets, and room capture.
