Description
The sE Electronics RN17 is a Rupert Neve signature small-diaphragm condenser microphone with interchangeable capsules. Developed through the sE and Rupert Neve collaboration, it pairs a 15 mm gold-sputtered capsule with a full-scale custom transformer for clarity, weight, and headroom rarely achieved in a pencil microphone.
The RN17 ships with a cardioid capsule and accepts optional omni, hypercardioid, and figure-8 capsules for expanded applications. Discrete Class-A electronics and hand-wound Rupert Neve transformer design make it ideal for dialog, instruments, overheads, and detailed studio capture.
