Built to make your content creation an effortless experience, the DynaCaster DCM6 from sE Electronics is a sleek active dynamic microphone with a unidirectional cardioid pickup pattern for eliminating unwanted ambient noise and a clean onboard preamp that delivers +30 dB of transparent gain. The DCM6 sports a durable metal grille along with a convenient internal pop filter for eliminating plosives and an internal shockmount for avoiding rumbling and handling sounds, allowing your microphone to remain flush without external obstructions to your camera view.
The DCM6 is housed in a corrosion-free, dent-proof metal housing built for years of intense use, and it includes a versatile stand adapter with a wide swivel range tested for use on nearly all types of mic booms and stands. With a custom-developed capsule and frequency response designed to deliver smooth, natural sound on any voice, the DynaCaster DCM6 will enhance the quality of your content and can also serve well as a home studio or live instrument microphone.

Elegant Design
The DynaCaster DCM6 sports an efficient design that keeps the exterior as clean and obstruction-free as possible while still providing studio essentials. Rather than attaching bulky external shockmounts and pop filters, these accessories are built right into the microphone. Both the metal mesh grille and pop filter can be easily removed and cleaned as needed.
DYNAMITE Mic Preamp
The red push button on the back of the microphone controls the internal DYNAMITE preamp. When pressed in, the internal DYNAMITE preamp is active and provides +30 dB of additional gain, ideal for speech and softer sources. This requires +48V phantom power. When the switch is out, the internal DYNAMITE preamp is deactivated and the mic functions as a completely passive microphone not requiring phantom power.
Gold-Plated Connectors
To ensure loss-free, reliable signaling, the DCM6 features gold-plated male XLR connectors with superior thermal and electrical conductivity compared to other conductor materials.
Wide Swivel Range Adapter
This microphone includes a flexible stand adapter with a wide swivel range, making it easier to position the microphone for ideal sound and looks during a stream or content shoot. This adapter has been tested on numerous stands and booms for wide compatibility.
Instruments or Voice
While the DCM6 was made with the human voice in mind, it can also serve very well as an instrument mic. The frequency response makes it ideal for snare drums, tom drums, or electric guitar cabs, and the durable metal housing provides excellent protection for live or studio use.
