Description
The BL8 omni is an omnidirectional boundary condenser microphone built around the sE8 omni capsule. Its low-profile design suits conference rooms, courtrooms, boardroom speech, and stage-floor miking where one mic needs to cover a wide area evenly. In the studio it works as a room mic, grand piano boundary mic, or inside a kick drum when paired with a Kelly SHU mount.
Switchable Classic and Modern voicings, a low-cut filter, and 10 dB / 20 dB pads let you shape tone and headroom before the signal hits your mixer. Transformerless Class-A electronics keep the signal clean even in demanding acoustic environments.
