Description
The Z5600a II (5600S/MKII) is a large-diaphragm vacuum-tube condenser microphone with nine selectable polar patterns spanning omni, cardioid, and figure-8, including three intermediate steps between each. A hand-crafted 1" true condenser capsule and 12AX7 tube output stage deliver the warmth and transparency expected of a studio tube mic on vocals, drums, guitar cabs, piano, and room sources.
A -10 dB pad and 50 Hz low-cut filter extend headroom for loud instruments and reduce rumble. Pattern selection on the external PSU lets you balance direct and ambient pickup without swapping microphones.
