RTS MCP90-8 8in Electret Condenser Microphone with Gooseneck

The MCP90-8 is the 8in gooseneck electret condenser microphone for RTS keypanels, the OMS main station, the IC-W6 window intercom and selected Audiocom intercom stations. The back-electret capsule gives greater sensitivity, wider frequency response and better immunity from handling noise than a diaphragm-electret microphone, and the cardioid pickup pattern with a response tailored for close-up speech keeps ambient noise out of the intercom. The mic is fitted with the RTS threaded 1/4in TRS male connector, so it screws into the front panel jack of the host station and stays put, and it takes its phantom power from the station over a wide 1.5 to 9V range. A removable windscreen provides pop filtering, response shaping and overload protection. The MCP90-0 is the flushmount version and the MCP90-18 the 18in gooseneck.
