The Roland V-STAGE 88 is a professional 88-key performance keyboard featuring four independent sound engines: V-Piano acoustic modeling, SuperNATURAL Electric Piano, Virtual Tone Wheel organ, and ZEN-Core synthesizer. Designed for piano-focused gigging keyboardists who also need EP, organ, and synth sounds in a single instrument, the V-STAGE 88 uses Roland's weighted hammer-action keyboard with escapement and Ivory Feel, specifically calibrated for expressive playing across all four engine types.

Four Sound Engines & PHA-50 Keyboard

Each of the four sound engines operates independently with its own dedicated panel section, giving players instant tactile access to the sounds they need without menu diving. The V-Piano section delivers two concert grands, an upright, and a felt piano through behavior modeling rather than samples. The organ section provides a three-layer Virtual Tone Wheel with harmonic bars, percussion, overdrive, and a rotary speaker effect with speed and brake control. The SuperNATURAL EP section covers tine, reed, digital piano, and clavinet with dedicated amp simulation and tremolo. The ZEN-Core synth section offers over 400 tones across two simultaneous parts, with support for Roland Cloud Model Expansions (free JUPITER-8 and JUNO-106 expansions included). The 88-key weighted action is mounted on a wooden baseplate for enhanced stability, and touch sensitivity can be adjusted independently per engine from the front panel. A 4.3-inch display, 512 scene memories, and 128 scene chains enable fast setup changes during live performance.
