The Roland JUNO-D8 is the 88-key flagship of the JUNO-D series, pairing a PHA-4 Standard weighted hammer-action keyboard with the full-featured ZEN-Core engine. With over 3,800 sounds and 95+ drum kits, an eight-track sequencer, phrase pads, a mic input with vocal effects, and USB-C connectivity, the JUNO-D8 delivers the JUNO-D experience with the authentic piano touch that weighted-action players demand.

PHA-4 Weighted Keyboard & ZEN-Core

The JUNO-D8 is the only model in the JUNO-D lineup with a weighted hammer-action keyboard. Its 88-key PHA-4 Standard keybed features escapement and an ivory-feel surface, providing the graded resistance and realistic piano response expected by pianists. This makes the JUNO-D8 equally suited for acoustic piano performance and synthesizer work, bridging the gap between stage piano and synth workstation. At 32 lbs, it remains portable for a full-size weighted keyboard.

The ZEN-Core engine provides the same 3,800+ sounds and 95+ drum kits as its lighter siblings, covering pianos, synths, organs, strings, and more across 16 category buttons. Dual, Split, and Super Layer modes let you combine sounds for live performance. The eight-track sequencer, eight phrase pads, arpeggiator, and chord memory tools support composition and arranging. WAV sample import and Roland Cloud EXZ expansion compatibility keep the palette fresh.

A mic input with compressor, EQ, reverb, noise suppression, auto-pitch, and vocoder handles vocal duties. The class-compliant USB-C audio/MIDI interface connects directly to computers and mobile devices. The larger chassis accommodates the weighted keybed with a proportionally deeper body, but the JUNO-D8 retains the same internal features, panel layout, and connectivity as the D6 and D7.
