Description
The Roland JU-06A packs both the JUNO-60 and JUNO-106 into a single compact Boutique module, using Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology to reproduce the warm pads, rich basses, and iconic chorus that defined a generation of electronic music. A front-panel switch lets you instantly flip between the two JUNO engines, accessing the envelope-controllable pulse-width modulation of the 60 and the continuous high-pass filter of the 106.
Dual JUNO Engines
Rather than choosing between two classic JUNO synths, the JU-06A gives you both. Each mode faithfully recreates the unique filter behavior of its respective original, right down to the lovable (and thankfully adjustable) analog noise. The DCO offers sawtooth and pulse waveforms with a sub-oscillator and noise source, fed through a resonant low-pass filter shaped by a full LFO and ADSR envelope.
The JU-06A includes features borrowed from both originals and adds new ones: the JUNO-60's arpeggiator with three playback modes, the JUNO-106's high-pass filter, plus a 16-step monophonic sequencer and chord memory function for creating thick polyphonic phrases. The signature JUNO chorus is onboard with two modes, alongside a delay effect. Polyphony can be expanded beyond four voices by chaining multiple JU-06A units via MIDI.
