Introducing the Maselec MEA-2 Precision Stereo EQ by Relab
Developed in exclusive collaboration with renowned engineer Leif Mases, the Maselec MEA-2 Precision Stereo EQ is the only officially endorsed plug-in that brings you the meticulous craftsmanship and unparalleled precision of the iconic hardware.
- Harness the power of a legendary mastering-grade EQ in your DAW.
- Go beyond the ordinary with a hand-tuned asymmetrical Unique Q (Bandwidth) design and Broad Shelving.
- Experience the evolution of a classic, enhanced for a modern workflow with features like M/S per band and more.
Once you integrate this highly revered EQ into your workflow, you’ll immediately understand why top-tier audio engineers have trusted it for decades.
Dive Into The Artistry Of Hand-Tuned Excellence
The MEA-2’s curves aren’t just technical formulas; they’re thoughtfully crafted, to ensure your music touches the soul, not just the ears.
While many EQs use common textbook equations for their curves, the hand-tuned asymmetrical Unique Q (Bandwidth) curves of the MEA-2 stand out as artistically calibrated masterpieces.
So the next time you’re faced with the choice between generic and genius, remember: Timeless music is more art than math.
Unlock Smooth Broad Shelving
The MEA-2’s broad shelving spans a wider frequency range to eliminate any jarring shifts.
This results in highs that shimmer without being piercing, and lows that are deep and rich without muddiness.
After you experience the smooth broad shelving of the MEA-2, the design limitations of generic EQs will start to become more and more apparent.
Refine Your Mixes With Mid/Side Mastery
The MEA-2 plug-in now offers something the original hardware never did: Mid/Side Mode on every band.
Where many EQ plug-ins might lock you into a broad mid/side approach, the MEA-2 ignores that restriction and lets you fine-tune each band individually.
Finally, the legendary Maselec curves you love, with the refinement of modern mid/side control.
Bring Every Mix Detail To Life
The Maselec MEA-2 EQ’s Solo Isolation lets you thoroughly explore your mix, pinpointing elusive frequencies and resonances.
The solo function boasts a handpicked fixed-gain curve for precise and efficient frequency targeting. Coupled with the EQ’s serial flow, you can immediately hear the interactivity between bands.
The precision of Solo Isolation ensures that your decision-making will always be on point.
Harness the Power of Modern Workflow Enhancements
The MEA-2 plugin goes beyond sonic brilliance; it’s the pinnacle of modern efficiency, tailored for today’s producers.
While the iconic hardware sets the standard for sound, our plug-in offers Stereo Links Per Band, Balance Control, Advanced Preset Management, Resizable GUI, and more.
With the MEA-2 plugin, you’re not just saving time, you’re optimizing it.
