Description
The PreSonus StudioLive 32S is a Series III S 40-channel digital mixing console, recorder, and audio interface designed for live sound reinforcement, live recording, and studio production. It features 33 touch-sensitive motorized faders, a full-color touchscreen, and 32 recallable XMAX preamps across 16 XLR inputs and 16 XLR-1/4" combo inputs. The powerful dual-core FLEX DSP engine delivers 286 simultaneous processors including Fat Channel vintage-style EQs and compressors on every channel, plus four FLEX FX slots for reverbs and delays.
Mixing and DSP
The StudioLive 32S provides 40 mixing channels and 26 buses, including 16 FlexMixes configurable as aux, subgroup, or matrix mixes, four dedicated effects buses, four subgroups, and 24 DCAs. The Dynamic Fat Channel layout provides access to every Fat Channel parameter and aux send via eight encoders with scribble strips. Scene presets and virtual sound check streamline workflow during complex productions.
Recording and Interface
A built-in USB audio interface provides multitrack recording to your DAW, and an onboard SD card recorder captures mixes without a computer. Record redundantly to both an SD card and a USB host computer simultaneously. The mixer includes Capture live-recording software and UC Surface remote control.
AVB Networking
Built-in AVB networking enables flexible system expansion and digital patching between networked devices including NSB-series stage boxes and EarMix 16M personal monitor mixers. A built-in Bluetooth receiver allows wireless music streaming from mobile devices.
