Description
The PreSonus Quantum ES 2 is a 2x2 USB-C audio interface delivering 24-bit/192 kHz recording with two MAX-HD mic preamps offering +75 dB of gain. Custom low-latency drivers and high-caliber converters maximize clarity and signal preservation from input to playback. Co-designed with Fender, it includes a front-mounted instrument input and an Auto Gain function that sets optimal levels automatically.
MAX-HD Preamps
Two MAX-HD mic preamps provide +75 dB of gain with digitally-controlled analog circuitry, delivering transparency and low noise suited for dynamic and condenser microphones. Phantom power and flexible gain controls accommodate a diverse array of microphone styles.
Instrument Input and Monitoring
A front-mounted instrument input co-designed with Fender provides plug-and-play accessibility for guitarists and bassists. Onboard LED metering gives color-coded real-time feedback without distraction. Balanced stereo output jacks are DC-coupled, allowing CV signals to be sent to compatible synthesizers, modules, and effects.
Control and Software
The Universal Control app provides comprehensive control over interface functions for solo, group, live, studio, and broadcast workflows. Built-in loopback support allows quick setup of monitor and streaming mixes. Rear-mounted 3.5mm TRS MIDI I/O expands connectivity for keyboards, drum machines, and sequencers. A Fender Studio Pro license is included with registration.
