Description
The PreSonus DM-7 is a seven-piece drum microphone set that gives you everything needed to capture a full acoustic drum kit. It includes one BD-1 kick drum mic with a tailored low-end frequency response, four ST-4 dynamic mics with adjustable rim mounts for toms and snare, and two OH-2 small-diaphragm condensers for overheads and cymbals. A hardshell carrying case keeps the entire set organized and protected.
BD-1 Kick Drum Microphone
The dynamic cardioid BD-1 features a frequency response tailored to accentuate low-end thump without leaving the beater attack behind. An integrated mount makes accurate positioning simple. Also an excellent choice for bass cabinets.
ST-4 Tom and Snare Microphones
Four ST-4 dynamic cardioid microphones feature a frequency response designed to enhance the attack and tone from toms and snare drums. The adjustable rim mounting system eliminates the need for extra mic stands around the kit. Also well-suited to guitar amps and other close-miking applications.
OH-2 Overhead Condensers
Two OH-2 cardioid small-diaphragm condensers capture the sizzle of cymbals and the ambiance of the room. They ship with clips and foam windscreens and also work well on hi-hats and acoustic guitar.
