Description
The PreSonus CDL Sub18 is an active 18" subwoofer driven by an integrated 2,000W Class D power amplifier. Its 18" LF transducer with a 4" voice coil provides 7mm of driver travel before over-excursion, delivering tight, coherent low-end that complements any full-range loudspeaker. A unique ported design maximizes efficiency, and the compact form factor suits both installed and mobile sound applications.
System Integration
An integrated M20 threaded pole mount supports ground-stacked systems with up to two CDL-series loudspeakers. For more bass, two CDL Sub18 units can be stacked together. Sound-enhancing presets and a variable lowpass filter adjust the transition between the subwoofer and full-range loudspeakers.
Rigging and Mounting
Integrated M10 fly points allow suspended installation. Locking powerCON AC connectors (in and out) simplify power distribution in multi-cabinet systems.
