The PreSonus AudioBox USB 96 (25th Anniversary Edition) is a 2x2, 24-bit/96 kHz USB 2.0 recording interface in a sleek all-black chassis. Bus-powered and built into a rugged 1/3U steel enclosure, it provides two Class A mic preamps with 48V phantom power, MIDI I/O, and zero-latency monitoring for home studios, podcasts, and mobile recording.
Preamps and Monitoring
Two Class A microphone preamps with 48V phantom power handle condenser and dynamic microphones. An internal analog mixer provides zero-latency monitoring so you hear your input signal in real time. Two balanced 1/4" main outputs connect to studio monitors, and a 1/4" stereo headphone output with level control supports private monitoring.
MIDI and Build
5-pin DIN MIDI input and output connect keyboards, drum machines, and other MIDI gear. The 1/3U rackmountable steel chassis is compact and road-ready.
