Description
The PreSonus ATOM SQ is a hybrid MIDI keyboard, pad performance, and production controller featuring 32 velocity- and pressure-sensitive RGB LED pads, 8 endless rotary encoders, and a multifunction touch strip. USB bus-powered and deeply integrated with both Studio One and Ableton Live, the ATOM SQ streamlines beat-making, step sequencing, and live performance from a single compact surface.
Pad and Keyboard Control
The 32 pads support switchable polyphonic aftertouch, channel pressure, or MIDI CC modes with a staggered TR-style layout for intuitive step sequencing. Keyboard, note repeat, and full velocity modes expand performance options. A scale constraint mode prevents wrong notes, and selectable velocity curves and pressure thresholds let you fine-tune the feel.
Hands-On Production
Eight endless rotary encoders provide parameter control, while the multifunction touch strip handles filter cutoff, pan, LFO rate, and more. A context-sensitive OLED screen and 16 assignable buttons keep you informed and in control without reaching for the mouse.
